Here’s the latest trailer for Flight Risk, director Mel Gibson’s three-hander suspense thriller starring Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Dockery and Topher Grace. Have a look above.
“I never flew a fugitive before,” Wahlberg’s Daryl Booth tells air marshal Michelle Dockery as the handcuffed other passenger, Winston (Topher Grace), waves hello and says, “Government witness, not a fugitive.” As the bumpy ride progresses, Winston recognizes his pilot. “Oh sh–,” he tries to say before chaos erupts in the cockpit.

As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions soar and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem. Oh, and there’s knives, gunplay and scuffling — lots of scuffling.

Oscar winner Gibson directs from Jared Rosenberg’s script and produces alongside John Davis, John Fox and Bruce Davey. It’s a Davis Entertainment Company and Icon production also from Media Capital Technologies, Hammerstone Studios and Blue Rider Media. Flight Risk has no MPA rating yet, but Lionsgate will open it January 25, only in theaters. It originally was scheduled for October 18 before being pushed to the midwinter date.
